Dr. Young: If the fish is sick and the water’s dirty, do you give the fish a pill? The answer is definitely not, because that just contributes more to the internal environmental pollution. Taking a pill does not clean up the water. You’ve got to change the water and do it in a way that’s not going to kill the fish or the body cells that make up your tissues and organs.
